HDFC Bank has partnered with Goa Electricity Department to set up facility for paying electricity bills online or through PoS machines. The bill payers will now be able to pay their electricity bills across India in a quick and convenient manner through online or PoS machines.
At present, residents of Goa make the bill payments physically either by cash or through cheques. This initiative will reduce the time spent in commuting and queuing up to make the bill payments. Nearly 6.40 lakh consumers will be able to take advantage of the newly launched facilities.
