Bannari Amman Spinning Mills has stopped the production at its processing unit situated at SIPCOT Industrial Growth Centre, Perundurai, Erode from October 22, 2019. The company has received notice from district collector, erode for non-observation of certain pollution control norms.
The event occurred during unprecedented heavy rains and the consequent flooding on October 21, 2019. It is expected that the production will be restored shortly.
