SpiceJet announces flights between Bangalore and Hubli

SpiceJet, a low-cost airline, has expanded its network in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities through introducing flights between Bangalore and Hubli in north Karnataka. The airline has also commenced bookings for this sector and the services will be commenced from September 27, 2012. The airline is offering inaugural fare of Rs 1,999 inclusive of all taxes.

At present, SpiceJet connects Bangalore and Mangalore in Karnataka, Hubli will be third destination of SpiceJet in the state. The airline would be deploying Bombardier Q400 aircraft on Bengaluru-Hubli route as well as on Bangalore-Coimbatore route.

Recently, the airline has also introduced a new flight between Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh and Bangalore via Vijayawada. SpiceJet already has a service between Rajahmundry and Vijayawada.
