ICICI Bank reports 6% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

ICICI Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The bank has reported 27.94% fall in its net profit at Rs 654.96 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 908.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 24.63% at Rs 22759.52 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 18262.12 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a fall of 6.09% in its net profit at Rs 1131.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1204.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 17.26% at Rs 37424.78 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 31914.82 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
