IndiGo surges on placing order for 300 A320neo Family aircraft

Interglobe Aviation (IndiGo) is currently trading at Rs. 1436.30, up by 26.00 points or 1.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 1410.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1454.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1454.45 and Rs. 1422.65 respectively. So far 15240 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1911.00 on 23-Sep-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 870.95 on 30-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1690.80 and Rs. 1378.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 54248.15 crore.

InterGlobe Aviation has placed a firm order for 300 A320neo Family aircraft. This marks one of Airbus’ largest aircraft orders ever with a single airline operator. This latest IndiGo order comprises a mix of A320neo, A321neo and A321XLR aircraft. This will take IndiGo's total number of A320neo Family aircraft orders to 730.

InterGlobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
