Canara Bank reports 14% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Canara Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The bank has reported 21.83% rise in its net profit at Rs 364.92 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 299.54 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 14.06% at Rs 14461.73 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 12679.06 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a rise of 13.73% in its net profit at Rs 405.49 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 356.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 15.42% at Rs 15509.36 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 13437.83 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
