Punjab & Sind Bank’s s net loss widens to Rs 468 crore in Q2

Punjab & Sind Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The bank has reported a net loss of Rs 468.73 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 109.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank decreased by 7.75% at Rs 2222.57 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 2409.41 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 13.64%, as compared to 10.02% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 7.07% in Q2FY20.
