Mahanagar Gas has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.
The company has reported 98.56% rise in its net profit at Rs 270.62 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 136.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.24% at Rs 884.53 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 781.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Mahanagar Gas (MGL) is a city gas distribution company. The company is engaged in the distribution of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in Mumbai and its adjoining areas and in the Raigad district in the state of Maharashtra.
