India Tourism Development Corporation has informed that in continuation to letter having Ref:SEC:COORD:134 dated 11.11.2019 intimating appointment of Kamlavardhana Rao Ganji, IAS (KL:90) as Chairman & Managing Director of ITDC vide DoPT order dated 23.10.2019 (copy enclosed), the newly appointed Director has furnished disclosure that he is not debarred from holding the office of Director pursuant to any SEBI order or order of any other such authority. Further, prior to assuming the office at ITDC, Rao was designated as the Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, Government of Kerala. Rao also served as the Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Government of Kerala in the years 2014-16. In a span of close to three decades, Rao has served multiple positions including Chairman of Indian Tobacco Board; Director, Culture, Government of India; Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh; Joint Secretary, Industries Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Private Secretary to Union Minister for HRD.
