NHPC has participated in ‘Power Summit 2019’ organized by the Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal (IPPAN) from November 21-22, 2019 at Kathmandu, Nepal. During the Inaugural Session of ‘Power Summit 2019’, NHPC exchanged letter of Intent with HIDCL (Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company-A company owned by Government of Nepal) for joint cooperation on development of hydropower in Nepal.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
