Karur Vysya Bank has inaugurated one branch in Thenur, Madurai on September 20, 2012. While, the bank is also in the process of opening two more branches in MSK Complex, Thiruvallur and Vriddhachalam Road, Ulundurpet on September 26 and September 28, 2012, respectively.
Recently on September 14, 2012, the bank had opened its 459th branch located at No 420, SMRR Plaza, Ettines Road, Udagamandalam, The Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu.
Karur Vysya Bank is among 6 old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
