New Delhi Television has informed that in furtherance to the disclosures made by the company on 4th December 2019 and 10th December 2019, in regard to the Civil Appeal filed by the company before the Honorable Supreme Court, challenging the order dated 7th August 2019 passed by Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) and the Notice of Demand/ Recovery Certificate dated 22nd November 2019 issued by SEBL received on 25th November 2019, under Rule 2 of the Second Schedule to the Income Tax Act, 1961 r/w Section 28A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, SEBI has separately filed a Special Leave Petition in the Honorable Supreme Court, challenging the Judgment dated 4th September 2019 passed by the Honorable Bombay High Court, which has been tagged with the Civil Appeal filed by NDTV. The matters has been adjourned to third week of January, 2020 on the same terms as before.
