NHPC has tested and commissioned Unit number 2 of Bairasiul Power Station (180 MW) in the state of Himachal Pradesh after completion of Renovation and Modernization works. The commercial operation of Unit number 2 of Bairasiul Power Station started from December 29, 2019.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
