Allahabad Bank has received the capital infusion fund amounting to Rs 2153 crore from the Government of India (GoI). The said amount of capital infusion fund is being maintained by the Bank as ‘Share Application Money’ pending allotment.
Allahabad Bank is a nationalized bank with its headquarters in Kolkata. It is the oldest joint stock bank in India.
