Indian Overseas Bank gains on receiving Rs 4360 crore capital infusion from Govt

Indian Overseas Bank is currently trading at Rs. 11.61, up by 0.50 points or 4.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 11.11 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 11.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 12.10 and Rs. 11.50 respectively. So far 12392 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 15.80 on 02-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.75 on 15-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 12.40 and Rs. 10.96 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13982.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 92.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.36% and 4.12% respectively.

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has received amount of Rs 4360 crore on January 03, 2020 towards contribution of the Central Government in the preferential allotment of equity shares (Special Securities/Bonds) of the bank during the financial year 2019 - 20 as Government’s investment.
