Insecticides India rises on getting environment clearance for Rs 40 crore pesticide unit in Gujarat

Insecticides (India) is currently trading at Rs. 473.55, up by 1.25 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 472.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 470.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 488.00 and Rs. 464.00 respectively. So far 2465 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 740.00 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 392.15 on 11-Dec-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 505.00 and Rs. 464.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 978.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.93% and 11.32% respectively.

Insecticides India (IIL) has received an environment clearance for setting up a pesticide manufacturing unit in Bharuch, Gujarat that will entail an investment of Rs 40 crore. The union environment ministry has given the go-ahead to IIL's proposed project after taking into account the recommendations of a green panel.

Insecticides India is a leading agro-chemical and pesticides manufacturer. It has formulation facilities in Chopanki (Rajasthan), Samba and Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir) and Dahej (Gujarat).
