Indian Overseas Bank rises as govt increases authorised capital of the Bank

Indian Overseas Bank is currently trading at Rs. 11.35, up by 0.03 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 11.32 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 11.24 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 11.50 and Rs. 11.06 respectively. So far 77856 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 15.80 on 02-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.75 on 15-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 12.10 and Rs. 10.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14347.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 92.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.36% and 4.12% respectively.

The Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has increased the authorised capital of Indian Overseas Bank from Rs 15000 crore to Rs 25,000 crore.
