GMR Infrastructure gains as its arm raises Rs 2,000 crore via NCDs

GMR Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 23.95, up by 0.05 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 23.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 24.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 24.20 and Rs. 23.90 respectively. So far 108332 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 24.80 on 09-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.45 on 05-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 24.80 and Rs. 21.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14486.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.99% and 10.41% respectively.

GMR Infrastructure’s step down subsidiary -- GMR Infra Services (GISL) has raised funds worth Rs 2,000 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs), in the normal course of its business, primarily to retire some of its existing debt.

GMR Infrastructure is engaged in generation of power, mining and exploration activities, development of highways, infrastructure development, such as development and maintenance of airports and special economic zone; construction business, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting activities and operation of airports and special economic zones.
