Vedanta’s Jharsuguda Special Economic Zone (SEZ) unit (Plant-2) has received ISO 50001:2011 (Energy Management System) certification. The certification is for production and supply of primary aluminium, ingots, wire rod and billets effective from December 19, 2019. It is a significant recognition for company’s energy efficiency standards in the global metal industry.
