Indian Acrylics aims to utilize 70% captive consumption of Fibre in next two years

Indian Acrylics is aiming to utilize 70% captive consumption of Fibre to yarn over next two years. The company has increased captive consumption of acrylic fibre for yarn conversion to 42% of the Acrylic fibre production. The company had initiated forward integration project by setting up the new production capacities to manufacture Acrylic yarns in the year 2013.

The Company is keeping high capacity utilization of 90% to 95% in both its yarn spinning mills in all 3 Quarters of this year. The company is expecting the capacity utilization of the yarn business to remain close to 95% in the Q4 as well.

Indian Acrylics is a mega petrochemical project & the largest producer of acrylic fiber. The product range of the company includes Staple fabric, Normal Bright Staple fibre, Semi Dull luster Staple Fibre, Normal Bright Staple Fibre (Non Shrinkable), Normal Bright Staple (Shrinkable), Acrylic tow, Acrylic top, etc.
