Tata Metaliks declines despite reporting 16% rise in Q3 net profit

Tata Metaliks is currently trading at Rs. 646.95, down by 7.30 points or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 654.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 660.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 660.60 and Rs. 637.80 respectively. So far 1111 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 704.10 on 07-Mar-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 480.85 on 05-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 688.00 and Rs. 637.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1816.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.21% and 25.73% respectively.

Tata Metaliks has reported 15.85% rise in its net profit at Rs 45.91 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 39.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 4.73% at Rs 521.70 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 547.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Tata Metaliks is engaged in manufacturing of pig iron, casting, iron ore fines, coke breeze and limestone. It is a leading pig iron manufacturer and seller in India.
