Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), India's largest two-wheeler maker, as part of its ongoing initiative to take brand ‘Hero’ across international markets, has launched its newly incorporated brand in Nepal by launching as many as 14 models in the Himalayan nation.
The company has appointed NGM as its distributor in Nepal to sell the products through a channel of 70 outlets while in the process of next one year another 30 new outlets will be added. The company earlier this month had forayed into the international market under its newly incorporated brand identity by launching its products in Sri Lanka.
Besides, in order to reach the stated objective of 10% of its total volumes from international business in the next five years the company also plans to commence its exports to new international markets in Africa and Latin America.
