Surana Telecom & Power has acquired further 24,50,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each in its subsidiary company -- Tejas India Solar Energy. Earlier, the company had acquired 51% equity shares in Tejas India Solar Energy. Now further the company acquired the remaining 49% of shareholding in the target company. Consequently, Tejas India Solar Energy became Wholly-owned Subsidiary effective from January 23, 2020.
Tejas India Solar Energy incorporated under the companies Act, 2013 primarily to carry on the business of generation of solar energy.
Surana Telecom & Power was engaged in the business of manufacturing of petro products such as petroleum jelly and telecom products such as jointing kits. Later the company ventured into the telecommunication sector with the production of jelly filled telephone cables.
