Bombay Stock Exchange’s India International Exchange (India INX) has listed Power Finance Corporation’s (PFC) global notes worth $750 million on its debt listing platform. The maiden issue is part of the company’s global medium term note (MTN) programme to raise up to $5 billion in overseas borrowings through debt-instrument. The notes under the programme have been issued at a coupon rate of 3.95 per cent.
PFC provides large range of financial products and services like project term loan, lease financing, direct discounting of bills, short term loan, and consultancy services for various power projects in generation, transmission, distribution sector as well as for renovation and modernization of existing power projects.
