Central Bank of India jumps on turning black in Q3

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 19.70, up by 0.35 points or 1.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 19.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 19.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 19.90 and Rs. 19.60 respectively. So far 17364 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 36.95 on 29-Mar-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 15.55 on 09-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 20.50 and Rs. 18.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11048.39 crore.

Central Bank of India has reported net profit of Rs 155.32 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2019 against net loss of Rs 718.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 15% at Rs 7,278.29 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 6,329.17 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported net profit of Rs 164.28 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2019 against net loss of Rs 681.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 14.98% at Rs 7,307.98 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 6,356.00 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
