Ashoka Buildcon rises as its arm executes concession agreement with NHAI

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 115.30, up by 0.35 points or 0.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 114.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 115.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 116.65 and Rs. 114.40 respectively. So far 11846 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 155.00 on 30-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 89.50 on 10-Dec-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 121.40 and Rs. 112.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3219.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.26%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.52% and 9.23% respectively.

Ashoka Buildcon’s subsidiary -- Ashoka Kandi Ramsanpalle Road (SPV) has executed a concession agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAl) on January 29, 2020, for the Project viz. ‘Tumkur - Shivamogga Section from Km 170.415 to Km 226.750 from Bettadahalli Shivamogga (Package IV) on Hybrid Annuity Mode under Bharatmala in the State of Karnataka.

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. It currently operates one of the highest numbers of toll-based BOT projects in India.
