Union Bank of India reports 3-fold jump in Q3 consolidated net profit

Union Bank of India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2019.

The bank has reported over 3-fold jump in its net profit of Rs 574.58 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 153.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 12.21% at Rs 10741.21 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 9572.58 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 554.36 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 182.97 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 12.59% at Rs 10985.23 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 9756.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
