Punjab & Sind Bank has informed that Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, vide notification no. F.No.4/5/2016-BO-I dated 18.02.2020, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 has extended the term of office of Dr. Fareed Ahmed, as Executive Director of Punjab & Sind Bank for a period beyond 16.02.2020 till the date of superannuation, 31.07.2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
