Aviation stocks plummet as ICRA maintains negative outlook on aviation industry amid coronavirus fears

Aviation stocks were trading lower as ratings agency ICRA in its latest report has maintained negative outlook on the Indian aviation industry in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, which has resulted in many international passengers cancelling their travel to South East Asian countries.

Spicejet is currently trading at Rs. 83.20, down by 4.20 points or 4.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 87.40 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 86.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 86.00 and Rs. 82.10 respectively. So far 260710 shares were traded on the counter.

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 1304.70, down by 61.65 points or 4.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 1366.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1333.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1342.00 and Rs. 1229.75 respectively. So far 61701 shares were traded on the counter.

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 24.60, down by 1.20 points or 4.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 25.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 25.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 25.75 and Rs. 24.55 respectively. So far 13284 shares were traded on the counter.
