Total Holdings SAS has acquired 405,751,145 equity shares of the Adani Gas at Rs 125.12 per share worth over Rs 5000 crore through an open market transaction on the BSE on February 28, 2020.
Through this deal, Total Holdings SAS bought a stake from five promoter entities of Adani Gas including Adani Tradeline, Afro Asia Trade and Investments, S B Adani Family Trust, Universal Trade and Investments and Worldwide Emerging Market Holding.
Adani Gas is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Adani Enterprise (AEL) and was incorporated for setting up distribution network in various cities to supply natural gas to industrial, Commercial, Domestic and CNG Customers.
