Escorts shines as its Agri Machinery Segment reports 18.8% rise in tractor sales in February

Escorts is currently trading at Rs. 820.00, up by 39.90 points or 5.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 780.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 820.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 831.00 and Rs. 811.90 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 914.40 on 19-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 423.30 on 23-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 873.00 and Rs. 767.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9562.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.92% and 32.83% respectively.

Escorts’ Agri Machinery Segment (EAM) has sold 8,601 tractors in February 2020 against 7,240 tractors sold in February 2019, registering rise of 18.8%. Domestic tractor sales in February 2020 at 8,049 tractors registering a growth of 16.3 percent against 6,918 tractors in February 2019. Export for the month of February 2020 at 552 tractors registering a growth of 71.4 percent against 322 tractors sold in February 2019.

Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
