Bajaj Auto reports 10% fall in February sales

Bajaj Auto has registered a fall of 10% in total sales to 354,913 units in February 2020 against 393,089 units in February 2019. The sales of 2-wheelers decreased by 5% and stood at 310,222 units in February 2020 against 327,985 units in February 2019. The company has reported 31% fall in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 44,691 units as compared to 65,104 units in month of February 2019.

Besides, the company’s total exports stood at 186,166 units, registering a rise of 9% as compared to 171,383 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
