Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has handed over the Shil, Mumbra & Kalwa sub-divisions and its operations to Torrent Power (TPL) on March 01, 2020, based on the Letter of Intent and Distribution franchisee agreement entered into with MSEDCL.
Earlier, in January 2019, TPL had emerged as winner of Distribution franchisee for distribution of electricity in Shil, Mumbra & Kalwa (SMK) sub-divisions under Thane Urban Circle, Maharashtra.
