NHPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Power Grid Corporation of India for Turnkey Execution of Dedicated Transmission lines / Construction Power Supply lines for future NHPC hydropower projects in India.
The MoU will pave the way for faster development of dedicated transmission lines and construction power supply lines of all existing and future hydropower projects of NHPC.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
