KEC International rises on acquiring 100% stake in step-down subsidiary

KEC International is currently trading at Rs. 262.95, up by 2.65 points or 1.02% from its previous closing of Rs. 260.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 277.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 277.95 and Rs. 257.85 respectively. So far 802 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 358.30 on 07-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 228.00 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 314.65 and Rs. 228.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6692.01 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.42% and 12.99% respectively.

KEC International has completed the acquisition of 100% shareholding of its step-down subsidiary KEC International (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. from KEC Global Mauritius, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The said acquisition of shares has made KEC International (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. a direct subsidiary of the company.

KEC International is a global infrastructure EPC major. It has presence in power transmission and distribution, cables, railways, water, renewables and civil.
