MRF shuts plants, sales offices to prevent spread of Covid-19: Report

MRF has reportedly halted its production due to lockdown announced by the Prime Minister. In view of the government-enforced nationwide lockdown for 21 days starting March 25 to prevent and contain the spread of Covid-19, the company's head office, sales offices and plants across India have remain shut until the lockdown is lifted. The company has eight manufacturing plants and four sales networks in the country.

MRF is engaged in the manufacturing, distribution and sale of tyres for various kinds of vehicles. The company offers tyre shopping, tyredrome and tyre maintenance services. It also provides an institute for driver development.
