Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries has started manufacturing of hand sanitizers at its Distillery units in Jawaharpur and Nigohi, Uttar Pradesh and Kolhapur unit in Maharashtra.
The company is distributing the same pro bono to the Government Hospitals and Police and is also packing in 5, 10, 20 Litre bottles for commercial organisations. However, the company feels that on as is basis it may not have significant incremental revenue from the Hand Sanitizers.
Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries has business interests in two major segments, Cement and Sugar.
