SpiceJet zooms on operating maiden freighter flight from China to Delhi

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs. 44.80, up by 1.75 points or 4.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 43.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 43.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 45.20 and Rs. 42.60 respectively. So far 826640 shares were traded on the counter.The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 156.90 on 03-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 30.80 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 45.20 and Rs. 41.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2697.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.07% and 27.97% respectively.

SpiceJet has operated its maiden freighter flight carrying medical supplies from Guangzhou in China to Delhi. The airline has brought 14 tonnes of medical supplies including medicines and protective gear.

The airline has till date transported over 4,750 tons of cargo on more than 651 flights since the nation-wide lockdown began. Of these, 233 were international cargo flights.

SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
