GE Power gains on resuming operations at Durgapur plant

GE Power India is currently trading at Rs. 449.60, up by 3.50 points or 0.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 446.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 449.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 478.00 and Rs. 442.00 respectively. So far 1728 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 933.00 on 20-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 416.05 on 21-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 478.00 and Rs. 428.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3005.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.15% and 13.27% respectively.

GE Power India has resumed its manufacturing operations at its Durgapur plant in West Bengal, to the extent permitted by the local administration/competent authority. The company is taking all precautions, safety and social distancing measures and implementing all applicable guidelines issued by the authorities across its operations and offices for prevention and containment of COVID-19.

GE Power India is engaged in the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and servicing of power plants and power equipment.
