Kalpataru Power Transmission gains on terminating deal with CLP India to sell stake in ATL

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 219.85, up by 1.00 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 218.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 229.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 230.00 and Rs. 219.00 respectively. So far 40060 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 553.50 on 01-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 170.00 on 27-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 256.00 and Rs. 207.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3403.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.36% and 9.27% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has terminated the deal with CLP India to sell its stake in Alipurduar Transmission (ATL). The deal was inked in July last year. Earlier in July 2019, the company had entered into binding agreements with CLP India to sell its stake in 3 power transmission assets for an estimated enterprise value of Rs 3,275 crore.
