With further to its intimation to exchanges dated February 17, 2020 and has reference to the Press Release issued by JSW Energy dated May 20, 2020 pertaining to Quarterly results ended March 31, 2020, GMR Infrastructure has informed that the transaction pertaining to the divestment of GMR Energy entire stake in GMR Kamalanga Energy  to JSW Energy has been put on hold due to the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19 and nationwide lock down and will be revisited once the situation normalizes. Even in these hard times with demand falling across India, the pithead plant of GMR Kamalanga Energy is fully operational and the Government announcing series of reforms along with INR 90,000 crore package to Discoms for easing liquidity, is a step in the right direction for power sector.
