Future Retail has closed most of its stores in most of the States, except selling only essential commodities and grocery items, in the wake of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The stores has been closed as directed by Local and State Government offices. The essential commodities and grocery items stores will operate till the time permitted by the respective local / regulatory authorities.
In view of the uncertainty created globally by this pandemic, the business of the company is adversely affected by temporarily shut down of stores, de-growth of revenue, sizable drops in footfalls and selective spending on essentials only by the Customers.
Future Retail offers food and grocery categories, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, dairy products, staples, FMCG and processed foods, electronics and appliances, clothing and footwear, furniture and furnishing, and other household articles.
