Bajaj Auto logs 70% decline in May sales

Bajaj Auto has reported 70 per cent decline in total sales to 127128 units in May as against 419235 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales fell 83 per cent to 40074 units last month as compared to 235824 units in May 2019. Total two-wheeler sales were down 69 per cent at 112,798 units as compared to 365,068 units in the year-ago month.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
