Hero MotoCorp reports 22% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Hero MotoCorp has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The company has reported a 15% fall in its net profit of Rs 620.71 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 730.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 20.39% at Rs 6407.86 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 8049.18 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a 21.62% fall in its net profit attributable to owners of the company of Rs 604.63 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 771.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 20.07% at Rs 6490.92 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 8120.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the company has reported a 7.34% rise in its net profit of Rs 3633.26 crore as compared to Rs 3384.87 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 13.77% at Rs 29614.43 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 34341.79 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a 5.63% rise in its net profit attributable to owners of the company of Rs 3638.11 crore as compared to Rs 3444.09 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 13.48% at Rs 29985.88 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 34658.96 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
