Maruti Suzuki gains on rolling out BS6 compliant S-CNG variant of Celerio

Maruti Suzuki is currently trading at Rs. 5450.00, up by 22.75 points or 0.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 5427.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5230.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5466.15 and Rs. 5222.00 respectively. So far 53191 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7755.00 on 29-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4002.00 on 03-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5836.10 and Rs. 5222.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 162748.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.28%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.32% and 5.40% respectively.

Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out BS6 compliant S-CNG variant of Celerio. This is aligned to the Company’s vision of Mission Green Million, originally announced at the Auto Expo 2020. The company’s S-CNG vehicles are equipped with dual interdependent ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and intelligent injection system. Vehicles are factory fitted, and specially tuned and calibrated to deliver optimum performance and enhanced drivability across all kinds of terrains.

Maruti Suzuki’s S-CNG vehicle range is aligned to and complements the Government of India’s vision of reducing oil import and enhancing the share of natural gas in the energy basket of the country from 6.2% now to 15% by 2030.
