Eicher motors reports fall of 44% in Q4 consolidated net profit

Eicher motors has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The company has reported a 27.95% fall in its net profit of Rs 346.18 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 480.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 11.97% at Rs 2325.69 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 2641.81 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a 44.15% fall in its net profit attributable to owners of Rs 304.28 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 544.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 11.03% at Rs 2351.30 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 2642.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the company has reported a 7.33% fall in its net profit of Rs 1903.82 crore as compared to Rs 2054.44 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 5.92% at Rs 9692.81 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10302.52 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a 17.04% fall  in its net profit attributable to owners of Rs 1827.44 crore as compared to Rs 2202.73 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 5.31% at Rs 9696.83 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10240.45 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
