Fortis Healthcare reports consolidated net loss of Rs 44 crore in Q4

Fortis Healthcare has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The company has reported a 95.78% fall in its net profit of Rs 8.12 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 192.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.Total income of the company decreased by 56.89% at Rs 224.11 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 519.91 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss from continuing operations attributable to owner of Rs 44.51 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit Rs 135.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 5.26% at Rs 1131.33 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 1194.15 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the company has reported 4 fold jumps in its net profit of Rs 513.33 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 123.09 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.88% at Rs 1640.19 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1180.98 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit from continuing operations attributable to owner of Rs 57.94 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 298.93 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 2.70% at Rs 4684.96 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4561.76 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
