Dish TV India starts offering DTH services to Maharaja Express

Dish TV India, direct to home (DTH) service provider has started providing its services to the luxury train Maharaja Express. To enable live TV viewing on the move, company is using mobile in venture satellite antennas manufactured by Gilat. Every seat in the train has a dedicated set-top-box enabling the passenger to watch live television on the go. The company had launched its mobile train technology on the Palace on Wheels, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels and two other luxury trains, earlier in 2010.

Dish TV is India’s largest direct-to-home company and part of the biggest media conglomerate - Zee Group. Dish TV has on its platform 330+ channels and services including 21 audio channels with 12.5 million subscribers.
