PNB sanctions loans to about 3 lakh MSMEs under credit guarantee scheme

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has sanctioned loans close to 3 lakh accounts under the Rs 3-lakh crore Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) for MSME sector, impacted badly due to economic slowdown triggered by COVID-19 outbreak. On the occasion of International MSME Day, the bank reiterated its commitment towards the MSME sector, which has been the engine of economic growth and promoting equitable development.

PNB is one of the oldest banks in India having a virtual presence in every important center of the country. The Bank caters to a wide variety of audience through spectrum of services including corporate and personal banking, industrial finance, agricultural finance and international finance.
