Kingfisher Airlines continues to remain in red on the BSE

Kingfisher Airlines is currently trading at Rs. 13.25, down by 0.65 points or 4.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 13.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.25 and Rs. 13.25 respectively. So far 189265 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 30.90 on 07-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.01 on 13-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15.35 and Rs. 13.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1071.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.86% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.30 % and 49.84% respectively.

Kingfisher Airlines was forced to declare a partial lockout on October 1, 2012 in view of the illegal strike perpetrated and continued by a faction of technicians, AME’s and Pilots. The company has regretted that the illegal strike has still not been withdrawn and normalcy has not been restored, thereby continuing to cripple and paralyze the working of the entire Airline.

In light of this, the company has been constrained to extend the partial lock-out which commenced from Monday evening (1st of October, 2012) up to Friday the October 12, 2012 or up to such earlier date on which the said illegal strike is called off, and the management is informed about the same.
